For most of us, viewing a total eclipse of the sun is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. (Well, perhaps it’s the second if you had the opportunity to see the one in August 2017.)

The upcoming eclipse in April of 2024 offers a unique chance to collect real-time data or share exciting simulations with your students.

In this webinar, learn how you and your students can collect, analyze and share data about light intensity, air temperature and surface temperature before, during and after the eclipse. We’ll share activities to collect live data using TI graphing calculators, the TI-Innovator™ Hub and temperature sensors.

We'll also introduce simulations you can use with your students if you're too far from the path of the eclipse. Heads up … if you miss this one, you’ll have to plan ahead for the next eclipse in August 2044!
