Students' use a motion detector to examine how different types of motion affect the shape of the Distance versus Time plot. They explore how changes in direction and other factors affect the shape of the plot.
Given a distance-time graph, students decide and write how they would walk in front of a CBR2 to duplicate the graph.
This is the second of three trials that students have to decide how to walk in order to produce the graph.
Using what they learned by making distance-time graphs, students have to decide how to move in front of the CBR2 in order to make a horizontal line for the distance-time graph.
